Death toll rises to 41 – DMC

<P>The death toll due to the recent adverse weather conditions had risen to 41 whereas 39 are still missing, Disaster Management Centre said. 

<P> 40 of the drowned victims were reportedly fishermen and 29 persons have sustained injuries as well. 

<P>The navy and the air force are still engaged in search of the missing persons.
