Two passengers who were travelling in a trishaw sustained fatal injuries when the vehicle crashed into a bus after the driver had fallen asleep.
The accident had occurred last night in Ranwala area on Colombo – Kandy main road. The two passengers named Dileepa Abeysekara (21) and Nimal Wijesuriya (21) were admitted to Kegalle Hospital but was pronounced dead up on admission.
The trishaw driver had however survived in the accident.
