An Indian woman who was overstaying in the country defying immigration laws was arrested by the Police Special Task Force in Eravur last evening.
The 47-year-old suspect was reportedly engaged in trading. She is from Maharaasapuram area in Tamilnadu, the police said.
The STF handed over the suspect to Eravur Police to be produced in Eravur Maistrate Courts.
