The Perseid meteor shower will be clearly visible to Sri Lanka on August 10 and 13, according to the Sri Lanka Planetarium. Accordingly around 15 meteors per hour should be visible on August 10 and from August 11, 12 and 13 nearly 50 meteors could be visible.
If the clear night sky remains the meteor shower will be visible from mid night to wee hours of the next day from August 10 – 13.
