Two men wanted for stealing jewellery and valuables of commuters after sedating them with drugs were taken into custody by the police at the Bandaranaike International Airport on Wednesday night.
The suspects were loitering in the lobby when they were searched on suspicion. The police later learnt that the duo were responsible for several cases of stealing valuables from the commuters in Wattala, Anuradhapura and Pettah areas.
