Abandoned Pajero used for abduction? [October 08 2013]

The abandoned Mitsubishi Pajero found on D. R. Wijewardena Mawatha this morning is suspected to have used to abduct a group or a person, police said.

The vehicle was found by a police mobile patrol unit near the Transport Ministry around 5.40am and an inquiry is being carried out currently, Acting Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

The police suspect whether the vehicle has been used for an abduction or a similar crime.
