Two bodies found in a Kantale Tank [October 08 2013]
A body of a woman and a girl were found floating in Vendrasapuram Tank in Kantale last evening, the police said.
The victims had been identified as 49-year-old M G Sriyalatha and her granddaughter seven-year-old Nileka Priyadarshani. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The bodies are kept at Morgue of the Kantale Hospital. Kantale Police are conducting investigations.
