Sabaragamuwa to promote indigenous rice

<P>The Agriculture Department of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council launched a new program to promote indigenous rice varieties in the area. 

<P>The program was initiated today in Mudungoda in the Eheliyagoda Electorate. 

<P>The Provincial Agriculture Department has been able to produce seed paddy of 600 varieties of indigenous rice.
