A Polish national who tried to take a large sum of foreign currency without declaration was taken into custody by the Customs official at the Bandaranaike International Airport early this morning.
Customs on suspicion searched the passenger bound for Singapore and found 200, 000 Saudi Riyal worth Rs.7million concealed in a false bottom of his baggage.
The person is being detained for further investigations.
