A 18-year-old man working as an assistant attached to a public car park in Belummahara was crushed to death between a reversing bus and an already parked one last night, the police said.
The victim named Pradeep Lasantha had assisted the bus driver to reverse the vehicle but had met with the unfortunate accident when the bus driver had failed to stop at the right moment.
The bus driver had been taken into custody by Weliweriya Police.
