The four policemen including the OIC and OIC Crimes of the Thalangama Police who were taken into custody for allegedly extorting millions of rupees from a wealthy businesswoman to cover up the murder of STF Inspector will be produced before Kaduwela Magistrate today.
The four policemen were arrested by the Colombo Crime Division yesterday following the statement recorded by the businesswoman who is already in custody, the police said.
IGP N Illangakoon ordered the CCD to initiate investigations into the abduction and murder of Police Special Task Force Inspector in July.
