A 42-year-old motorcyclist was killed on the spot when he was run over by a private bus on C W W Kannangara Mawatha in Cinnamon Gardens last evening, the police said.
The victim had been identified as Mohamed Asraf Hameed of Sarikkamulla, Panadura. The driver of the bus was arrested and was to be produced before Hulftsdorp Magistrate Courts.
