According to the Meteorology Department showers or thunder showers will continue today and tomorrow in the Eastern, Northern, and Southern provinces. The depression condition persists in the atmosphere around 350 kilometres off Jaffna.
Accordingly, in the rest of the country, thundershowers will occur during the afternoon or in the night tomorrow and heavy rainfalls can be expected in certain areas.
