An Inspector attached to Fort Police Station was arrested by the Bribery Commission for allegedly soliciting a bribe of Rs.75, 000 from a person to release him from a complaint over a sexual misconduct.
The IP who had earlier taken Rs.12, 000 from the person was arrested whilst receiving the balance of Rs.63, 000 today. He will be produced in courts.
