Pakistan art students visiting Sri Lanka [January 25 2014]

Twenty two students from the Pakistan National College of Arts are on a good will visit in Sri Lanka. They will be in Sri Lanka till February 01, a spokesman for the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo said.

The team had met Pakistan High Commissioner Major Gen(rtd.) Qasim Qureshi today at the High Commission.

The national College of Arts Lahore and the University of Visual and Performing Arts Colombo signed an Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in 2010.

The students visited the art gallery of the university and also witnessed the cultural performance at the faculty of dance and music. The delegation would also visit Galle, Kandy, Anuradhapura and Sigirya during their stay in Sri Lanka.
