The Pakistani national who was arrested for attempting to smuggle in heroin hidden in oranges was hospitalised by the Police Narcotic Bureau today.
The suspect who had refused to eat or drink anything claiming that he was on a fast had to be hospitalised due to health concerns, the police said.
The PNB is conducting further investigations.
