A Pakistan national who arrived in the country secretly carrying 1.5 million Indian Rupees was arrested by the Customs official at the Bandaranaike International Airport last night.
The suspect who had three parcels of cash wrapped around his body and legs were arrested on information received by Customs Central Intelligence Division. He had come from Karachchi, Customs Spokesman Director Leslie Gamini said.
The inquiry was conducted by DDC T Nandasiri.
