A 38-year-old man and his 48-year-old sister were injured in a shooting took place in Galadeniya, Akuress last evening, the police said.
A man armed with a locally made Galkatas gun had fired at the couple over a family dispute. The gunman has been arrested by Akuress Police.
The injured are being treated at Akuress Hospital.
