First prisons school in Watareka

<P>First prisons school in Sri Lanka will ceremoniously be opened by President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Watareka, Homagama today.  

<P>The school was built in the Watareka Prison compound with an estimated cost of Rs.20million. The school was built in order to safeguard the educational rights of the inmates, Prisons Department said.  

<P>Prisons Commissioner General C Pallegama will also take part at the event.
