New Navy chief assumes duties [July 01 2014]

New Navy Commander Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera assumed duties today at a formal event held in the Navy Headquarters as the 19th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Commander Perera was the successor to Vice Admiral Jayantha Colambage who has been promoted to the rank of Admiral.
