Two hacked dead in the last 24hrs

<p>Two males were hacked to death by unknown persons in Ruwanwella and Weerambugedara during the last 24 hours, the police said.  

<p>The hacked body of a male identified as Bulathgama Arachchige Deepthi Somasiri alias Bawa aged 42, was found lying on the ground near an abandoned house in Ruwanwella this morning.  

<p>The corpse was sent to Ruwanwella Hospital Morgue. Ruwanwella Police are conducting investigations.  

<p>Meanwhile a 92-year-old man had been hacked to death in his house in Ilukgoda in Weerambugedara last evening.  

<p>The victim identified as Jayasinghe Pathirennalage Jinadasa was found with serious gashes all over his body. The man was living by himself. The reason behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.  

<p>Weerambugedara Police are conducting investigations.
