Couple nabbed for transporting Heroin [August 01 2014]

A couple that was possessing and transporting 150grams of Heroin was arrested by the Kalutara Divisional Crime Detection Bureau yesterday morning, the police said.

The police on information arrested the couple while they were transporting the narcotics in a car. The arrested man was 34 years old and the woman was aged 26 years.

They were handed over to Kalutara South Police for further investigations who will later be transferred to Police Narcotics Bureau.
