Maldives Police Commissioner due tomorrow [August 05 2014]

The Police Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives Hussain Waheed is due in the country tomorrow on a four day official visit, the Police Headquarters announced today.

The Commissioner is coming on an invitation by IGP N K Illangakoon and Secretary of the Ministry of Law and Order Maj. Gen. Nanda Mallawarachchi.

The two police chiefs are to discuss about the matters pertaining to the respective police services. Commissioner Waheed will also visit the Criminal Investigation Department, Criminal Record Division, Police Academy in Kalutara and Police Kennels Division in Kandy.
