At least 14 passengers sustained injuries when a private bus crashed into a CTB bus parked at the toll gate of the Pinnaduwa exit on Southern Expressway yesterday afternoon, the police said.
The private bus failing to control its speed has crashed into the parked heavy vehicle. The CTB bus had been parked at the toll gate to pay the expressway toll.
The injured including the driver of the private bus had been admitted to Karapitiya Hospital in Galle. Their condition is not known to be serious, the police said.
