An Indian national who had been engaged in selling garments by violating his visa regulations was arrested by the police in Nanuoya last evening, the police said.
The foreigner had reportedly arrived in the country on a tourist visa and had started doing a business, which is prohibited under the particular visa category.
He was produced before Nuwara Eliya Magistrate and released on a cash bail of Rs.10, 000. And was ordered to be appear in courts today.
