A man who tried to enter a house in an inappropriate manner on Wednesday night died after falling into a 30 foot well in Ibbankatuwa area in Galeweal.
The 33-year-old victim, who tried to enter a house but noticed by the residents had started running back in the dark had accidentally fallen into an unprotected well in the compound.
The victims body is lying at the mortuary of the Kurunegala Hospital. Galewela Police is conducting inquiries.
