Three airmen who sustained serious injuries following an explosion at the Kandakuliya Air Force Training Camp this morning were admitted to Kalpitiya Base Hospital, the police said.
The blast had reportedly occurred at the weapons testing range at around 11.30am.
The cause of explosion is yet to be ascertained and a special team from the Air Force Headquarters, Colombo had been sent to Kandakuliya to hold an inquiry.
