<P>Brothers brutally hacked to death in Gandara

<P>Two siblings had been brutally hacked to death with axes by a gang in Gandara on Friday night over a personal feud, the police said. 

<P>The victims identified as Mahadurage Prasad Manoj Kumara (36) and Mahadurage Rasaal Wasantha Kumara (38) were living in Nawadunna area. 

<P>A gang of several men armed with axes had confronted the brothers near Gammaduwa Pansala and had hacked the duo causing serious injuries. The victims were rushed to Matara Hospital but was pronounced dead upon admittance. 

<P>Gandara Police has deployed a special team to arrest the absconding suspects.
