Sri Lankan Airlines Stewardess dies in Doha [January 30 2015]

A Sri Lankan airlines Stewardess died on the spot and three Cabin Crew members sustained injuries when the vehicle that was carrying them on a desert safari toppled in Doha, Qatar yesterday evening.

Four Cabin Crew members of the UL 218 which was scheduled to fly back to Colombo at 10.45pm met with the tragic accident around 5.30pm, Sri Lankan Airlines sources said.

There were altogether six passengers on board the SUV that took them on a commercial desert safari off the deserts in Doha when it toppled due to unknown reasons.

Flight Stewardess Amendra Dekauwe died whilst five others including three flight attendants were hospitalised.
