CID grills Duminda Silva for six hours

<p>The CID yesterday questioned Colombo District UPFA Parliamentarian Duminda Silva for over six hours yesterday for his alleged involvement with the notorious drug kingpin Wele Sudha.

<p>MP Silva who arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department office with his attorneys around 9.00am was released after 3.00pm, Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said.

<p>Mr. Silva was reportedly questioned at length to learn about his alleged involvement in receiving a large sum of money from the arrested suspect Gampola Vidanalage Samantha alias 'Wele Sudha'.
