The CID today recorded a statement from former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa about the activities of the Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited and the armoury affiliated to it found at the BMICH recently.
A team of CID officials who visited Mr. Rajapaksa was told that a comprehensive statement will be given within another couple of days with the relevant documents, as he was not prepared for that today.
