ICC chief in Sri Lanka [July 19 2015]

Former Pakistan great and current International Cricket Council (ICC) president Zaheer Abbas arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday at the invitation of Sri Lanka Cricket chairman Sidath Wettimuny.

Abbas graced a reception for the cricketers of Sri Lanka and Pakistan last night.

Wettimuny invited Abbas when the two men met on the sidelines of the ICC conference held last month in Barbados.

It marks Abbas' first official visit to a full member nation since he took over as the president of ICC.

Abbas will be the Guest of Honour at the third ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on Sunday at the Premadasa stadium in Colombo.
