Rajitha out of danger [February 21 2016]

Medical officers attending on Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne, who was flown to Singapore for treatment on Friday confirmed that his health condition was stable and out of danger, Nipuna Ekanayake media spokesman to the Minister told the Sunday Observer last night.

Minister Seneratne was admitted to a Singapore hospital on Friday (February 19) night, after medical check-ups done in Sri Lanka in the morning on the same day.

According to Ekanayake he had undergone a medical test yesterday and is scheduled to undergo another today.

On Friday morning, Minister Senaratne was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo for a medical check up after a chest pain and then flown to Singapore, the Spokesman said.

Minister Senaratne was expected to attend a WHO summit to be held on February 22 in India.
