CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

This challenging opportunity exists for a qualified member of a reconized accounting body (ICA / CIMA / ACCA) with at least 07 years post qualifying experience of which at least 2 years should be in a similar capacity. Banking qualifications & experience, an MBA or CFA qualification would be added advantages.

This senior management position, with reporting responsibility to the Board, will be required to have expertise across all areas of Finance in the organization, with a keen eye on facilitating timely preparation of financial statements in full compliance with relevant accounting standards. Providing key financial information to facilitate sound decision making, the selected candidate will contribute to the Bank’s policies and strategies, maintaining strict financial controls and regulatory compliance. Treasury management, tax planning and liaising with other banks, financial & other external institutions and statutory authorities will also be within his purview.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership skills and the ability to drive the finance function in a smooth manner independently, in a demanding environment.
