Top 'Achievers' recognised

Eagle Insurance Company recently recognised the efforts of its topmost sales professionals at a gathering in Colombo. While 244 sales professionals had met the criteria set to qualify for the special awards, seven persons stood out.

In addition to the large number of new life policies introduced and high values obtained, these seven 'achievers' had also scored a very high retention level, surpassing the benchmarks set for excellent customer service.

Leading the list was Ajith Fernando, serving in the Colombo region, who has been consistent in achieving new business targets. He has been adjudged the Best Eagle Sales Person for four successive years. Ajith Fernando also has the distinction of achieving the world's highest award in the insurance industry, the international quality award from Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA).

In second place was D.G.A. Swarna from distant Anuradhaprua, another LIMRA quality award winner .

The other top achievers were S.P. Hapuarachchi and M.D.T. Aponso from Colombo. W.M. Kularatne (Kegalle), W. Lawrence Hewa (Matara) and K. Jeerasinghe, Kotte).
