Hilton, Air China Frequent Flyer Program in partnership Beijing Hilton has announced an agreement with Air China, becoming the first hotel to enter into a partnership with the Chinese carrier, allowing cross participation in Hilton HHonors, Hilton's guest reward program and Air China Companion Club. This agreement commencing February gives members of the Air China Companion Program an opportunity to earn Air China kilometres by staying at Hilton hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Dalian, Chongqing and at any one of more than 2,100 participating Hilton hotels around the world. The partnership aims to enhance the global service for the increasing number of business travellers in China and to address the strong competition with international airlines in the local business travel market after China's entry into the World Trade Organisation. Air China is the largest airline in China. The company owns 69 airplanes and operates 135 domestic and international routes covering 95 cities in more than 21 countries worldwide. Air China Companion Frequent Flyer Program is the first frequent flyer programme in China. Since its launch in 1994, it has acquired 500,000 members and has established strong relationships with airlines, banks, hotels,insurance and car leasing companies. |
