Bonsoir and the euro Bonsoir to be telecast at 8.30 pm tomorrow on ITN will take a look at the newly introduced European currency, the euro. The program will feature Illka Usitalo, Head of the European Union Delegation in Sri Lanka who talks about the euro's global importance, while Executive Director of the European Business Information Centre. Roshan Lyman will highlight some of the major areas of interest with regard to Sri Lanka's trading ties with the European Union and its new currency. Rohan Rodrigo, Chief Country Officer (Head of Global Markets and Treasury) of the Deutsche Bank will speak on how the banking sector welcomes this conversion, the managing of a single interest rate as opposed to the previous 12 rates, and possible problems of counterfeiting.
