Weather hampers final round games by DINESH WEERAWANSA The prevailing bad weather badly affected all BCCSL Inter-Club Premier League super eight final round matches, which began in Colombo on Friday. Moors Sports Club made 97 for 3 at stumps when bad light stopped play as only the post lunch session's play was possible on the opening day of their BCCSL Inter-Club Premier League super eight final round match against CCC, begun at Premadasa Stadium on Friday. Tamil Union, batting first, made 141 for 3 at stumps on day one of their final round match against SSC, which commenced at NCC grounds. Not a ball was bowled due to wet weather conditions on the opening day of the match between Bloomfield and Colts, which was to begin at Moors grounds, Braybrooke Place on Friday. Galle CC were 28 for 2 at stumps as less than an hour's play was possible due to rain on the opening day of their three-day game against NCC.
