Lankan at helm of Singapore's 9th best company

Egg Systems, Singapore, whose Chief Executive Officer is a Sri Lankan, Kithsiri Atulathmudali, has been selected as the ninth best among the 50 best enterprises in Singapore at a competition to select the country's best and most enterprising private companies and dotcoms.

Egg Systems received its e50 award at a ceremony where Mah Bow Tan, Minister of National Development was guest of honour. The awards presentation was organised by the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Kithsiri Atulathmudali is not only the CEO but also a founding member, director and shareholder of Egg Systems.

He migrated to the US in 1982 and became a naturalised citizen in 1986. He was born in Galle and educated in the USA and UK, where he obtained a BSc in Electronics Technology in 1987. He completed his studies at the California State University, Long Beach, USA.

He has held key appointments at Honeywell (South East Asia Region), Honeywell Systems (Thailand) and its Commercial Building Division before joining Egg Systems.

He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association and the Association of Chief Executives, Singapore.
