The company provides any kind of steel work for design, fabricating, installation and maintenance of steel structures such as tanks, thermal and gas turbine power plants, steam boilers and heat exchangers and manufacturing repairing and servicing of hydraulic pneumatic systems.

The company also engages in heavy pipe installation, stainless steel fabrication, manufacturing of cement cylos, steel structural platforms, gantry repairs in the port and port operation and total fuel transfer systems which includes the manufacturing of diesel storage tanks.

He said the most recent project undertaken by the company was to provide 80 heavy steel tanks for the storage of diesel. The diesel is used to operate the generators at Peliyagoda, Kosgama, Kotugoda and Ambatale power stations.

The heavy steel tanks are built according to Ceylon Petroleum corporation specifications and each tank can store 5000 gallons of diesel.

The company will also provide the site at Seethawaka with 12 tanks for the storage of diesel. "We are happy to be associated with the supplying of power as the country needs electricity badly," he added.
