Signature campaign for peace

SriLankaFirst embarked on a signature campaign for the cause of peace on March 15 which was announced as the Day of Peace.

The campaign was launched in association with Sarvodaya in Anuradhapura on the occasion of the Peace March.

The objective is to get at least one million signatures in support of peace. These signatures will be handed to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to express the citizens' solidarity with the cause of peace.

This is another initiative on the part of SriLankaFirst in its endeavour in bringing peace to Sri Lanka.

SriLankaFirst is a non-profit, secular organisation which has been consistently working for peace since being founded mid-last year.

It is a non-political, non-religious, non-ethnic association formed by leading business organisations in the country. It was born out of a need to find a solution to the 18-year-old conflict which has ravaged the country. It is the endeavour of SriLankaFirst to support the peace efforts to help bring economic stability to the country.
