under-19 beat SSC u-17 by 44 runs
The visiting Surrey Academy Under-19 cricket XI breezed to a 44-run win over St. Joseph's College under-17 XI in a friendly 50-over match played at Darley Road yesterday. The visitors who are here to play a series of friendly matches, made 192 in 47.2 overs helped by a strokefilled 91 by opener C. Salmonds who struck 9 boundaries and a six. The Josephians made 148 for 8 wickets in 50 overs with opening batsman Shamal Warnakula compiling a fine 61 inclusive of 8 fours. Surrey Academy Under-19 XI 192 all out in 47.2 overs C.
