IBIZA- HIS dream club

To be in Ibiza and mix Ibiza's anthems is DJ Naushad's far away dream. Who knows it may happen soon. The only true club DJ who spun grooves at the Blue Elephant, My Kind of Place and Chapter One, when they opened, DJ Naushad enjoys a challenge and has the art to make you feel you've experienced a thorough night's clubbing.

Name: DJ Naushad (Naushad Hijudeen)
Birthday: September 1 (Not so far off!)
Status: Married
Fave. colour: Emerald. (The gemstone is a beaut)

Trendy outfits: I'm not particular. Anything goes with me. If you could change anything about yourself now, what would it be and why: I would like to change my hair. Get back my long hair, may be by some magical power. I feel that long hair goes with the record and with DJing.

Fave. music: Tribal without a doubt. Like Danny Tenaglia.

Fave. song of the 1990s: Closer To You - Maxi Priest Embarrassing day: Hm... mm... I'm racking my brain and I can't think of one. What's your meaning of life: Minding my business without interfering with others. There's nothing called 'friends.'

What are the qualities you like in a girl: She should be kind-hearted and should be music minded which makes her more interesting as a person.

What would you have liked to have been in a past life: A goviya, a farmer who cultivates rice. It's work for an honest living.

Which character would you like to play in a film: A detective. I have a great attraction to being a detective. Who knows if I was not behind the console I would have tried my hand at it.

What would be your greatest achievement in life: To play at Ibiza - a DJ's dream - with Danny Tenaglia. He's a DJ genius. He knows how to blow everybody away - be it tribal, soulful or whatever.

Who do you admire in life: My grandmother. She was a very loving person and she taught me how to be a person with character. Sadly she is no more.

What magazines do you make it a point to read: DJ magazines the Mix magazines and Billboard.

What would you do if you ruled the world: I will ban weapons of war. We've seen enough of destruction and like they say enough is enough.

When you are not behind the console what keeps you awake at night: I do recordings and transfers. I watch CNN to catch up on news.

What do you think life will be like in the year 3000: People will be cloned people.

They will be half human, half something else. People will be flying around. There will be no cars, no trains no earth travel. If there is a disco, I wish I could be a DJ then. Are you happy in life: I wanted to be a DJ in life. I am and I'm happy.

What would your top tip on becoming a star DJ: Don't play cheap. Be a quality DJ. DJing is creative whatever any one may say.

The three of you at Blue Elephant are a team will you still be friends when you reach 70 years: Ofcourse. There's no doubt about it. KNH is an A team and we'll be there as friends. Check us out!
