Fund raiser for
Kidney Patients Welfare Society
'Sthri Music'

To co-incide with 'International Women's Year' this year, Mariazelle Goonetilleke will promote a mega concert in aid of the Kidney Patients' Welfare Society which will give pride of place to female vocalists. The concert will be different in that it will be a sort of unplugged performance where all the main performers who play instruments will play and sing lead and harmony together - something they don't usually do on stage.

The female vocalists who will be featured will be Mariazelle herself, Shyamie Fonseka, Dalreen Suby, Chandani Hettiarachchi, Corinne Almeida, Priya Goonetilleke and Drucille G. The concert which is titled 'Sthri Music' will come alive in all its female splendour on Sunday August 11 at the Bishop's College Auditorium Colombo. Male guest performers include Sohan Weerasinghe, Maxi Rosairo, Annesley Malawana with Sohan and the X'Periments as the backing band.
