Tough for B'desh in 'one-dayers' too by RANJAN ANANDAPPA Bangladesh will be up against a gigantic task when they meet a fully fledged Sri Lanka team in the first of their three limited over internationals which will begin today (Sunday) at the Sinhalese Sports Club grounds. After losing the two Tests series without much resistance the visitors will be up against the Lankans in full trottle and will need to produce something extraordinary to keep them at bay. The only real new comers to the squad is Hasantha Fernando without any experience and Chamila Gamage who had a memorable Test debut taking a wicket in his first ball being included in the one day party. Bangladesh has recalled three of their former Test players Khaled Mehmood, Naimur Rahaman and Mohammed Rafique for the limited over series. Former captain Akram Khan, Aminul Islam , Enamul Hoque and Alamgir Kabir have been sent back home. Khaled Mehmood is a medium pacer and a middle order batsman, while Mohammed Rafique is a left arm leg spinner and Naimur Rahaman is also a former captain and a spinning all-rounder who has played in 7 Test matches.
