Procare enters market Procare Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd, the latest entrant to the local insurance market started operations last week. Initially it will engage in handling General Insurance. "We will focus on protection and professionalism in caring," said Chairman Anslem Perera. Procare believes in relationship building and offering a personalised service to each and every client, irrespective of status or position in life,' said Managing Director, Padma Gunasekera, a veteran player in the field with over 42 years of insurance background. He started off as an Insurance Assistant at the then Ceylon Insurance Company Ltd and later at Insurance Corporation as Head of Development Fund. He was Executive Director of ACW Insurance branch office of Union Assurance and then the Additional General Manager - Marketing. He was also Director Business Development at Vanik Insurance Brokers until he resigned to start this new venture.
