Chandani with
C&C in concert

Come Saturday September 28 and music enthusiasts will be in for a great treat when the lovely Chandani with C&C will be live in concert at the BMICH. Chandani who is in a class by herself knows how to vividly bring alive with her voice the cool elegance of a ballad or a passion of a pop song. That she enjoys herself singing comes through in every note she hits and with her keyboardist husband Chaminda plus the quartet, the program at the concert is going to be something very special. Over the years ever since her launch into the music scene, Chandani's repertoire has widened with the inclusion of Sri Lankan and Hindi songs, and like she tells us she is well versed in other language songs.

he quartet includes Sudath Mannaperuma - guitar, Jagath Somasundera - percussion augmented in harmony by Janath Kulatilleke, Dilrukshi Galappaththi and Dharshi de Mel.

he concert will also be graced by guest artistes, popular Sunil Perera of Gypsies fame, Sohan of the X'periments and entertainer Mariazelle. The show will be threaded together by Faizal Bongso. At this concert C&C will also launch their new CD which contains popular songs and new compositions by the talented team.
