Man kills seven family members in Pakistan ISLAMABAD, Sept 21 (Reuters) - A Pakistani man shot dead his wife, four children and two other family members in the capital Islamabad early on Saturday, a police official said. He said Nawaz, a former driver at the interior ministry, then called the police to arrest him. "He appears to be a deranged man," the police official said, adding that apart from his wife and children the man also killed his son-in-law and daughter-in-law. "He told us on telephone that he had killed them with a pistol and a rifle," the policeman said. Bystanders at the scene said one of the man's young sons appeared to have been shot as he was trying to run away, and then dragged back into the house. "You can see the blood and the hand-prints of the young boy from the front door to the room," he said. |
