Two suspected rebels killed in Indian capital NEW DELHI, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Two suspected militants were killed in an encounter with the police early on Saturday on the outskirts of India's capital New Delhi, a police spokesman said. "Two militants have been killed. A hand grenade and two assault rifles have been recovered. We are expecting more details," Delhi police spokesman Ravi Pawar said. He said the encounter took place in the Tughlakabad area which lies in the southern part of the sprawling city. Police in the Indian capital killed two suspected rebels in an upmarket shopping mall in New Delhi in November. |
