Soul and R&B her fav music

Friendly and full of smiles Gabriella the youngest in a family of a brother and sister is enjoying herself in Sri Lanka singing with the popular group Friends now featured at The Mix, Taj Samudra. Her sylph figure, blonde hair makes her the attractive glitz in the band. Gabriella loves fashionable and trendy outfits - those that suit her. Chunky jewellery is up her fashion street. A semi-trained voice, she was singing with a trio before she met Friends and is now happy to be with them.

Name : Gabriella Janska

Fav colour: Black. Next is blue. Black suits my skin colour better. Gives me, what shall I say...more sophistication.

Hair do's: I like long hair especially the upswept hairstyles and tints.

No, not short hair. I have never cut my hair over the past years.

Fav music: Soul and R&B. But I sing all rhythms of music.

Fav song of the '90s: "How Do I Live Without You" - Lee Ann Rimes.

Embarrassing day: It happened when I was on stage one day, for an all important event. My thoughts were far away and I forgot the words of the song I was singing with the band and I felt so embarrassed. But after a while I was able to come back to the song!

Qualities you like in a man: He must be sincere and true to me. I can forgive everything if he is sincere. In the running of the home he must be able to tackle the man's job in the home.

How much of a party girl are you: I like to party but not every day. I like to come home, read books or listen to music.

How do you reject advances from men: I say I'm married and I'm very diplomatic in such situations. Are you superstitious: No. No black cats for me!

Pet Hate: Men who pursue me.

Do you still have your childhood toys: Yes. Very much so! It's all in a cupboard back home. My dolls, my teddy bears, my prams and all my books.

What makes you happy in life: To be with the person I love.

When you are not singing what keeps you awake at night: I watch TV or do some work needed in the home.

Where would you like to be most now: I am happy where I am - that is in the Czech Republic. The place is Prostejov, close to Brno the place famous for cycling races.

What other profession would you like to be in: Teaching small children.

What would you do if you ruled the world: Have peace. Stop the fighting for good.

Your favourite food: Spicy food especially seafood. Do I cook? Yes. I've even learnt to cook Sri Lankan rice and curry.

What would you have liked to have been in a past life: A queen or a princess - a member of royalty - living in a castle!

Fav cartoon character: Tom and Jerry.

What do you think life would be like in the year 3000: Thats difficult. 3000 may see destruction. But I hope life will be good with all the advancement in technology.
